Namesake

Reed Elementary School is named Officer Leonard A. Reed Elementary school. Officer Reed served as a peace officer, a Cedar Park Police patrol officer, a school resource officer at Vista Ridge High School, a Cedar Park field training officer, and a motorcycle cop. 

He made an impact on his fellow officers and the community. He also made a strong impression on all of the students he served. 

Officer Reed was voted Officer of the Year by his peers, and received several awards from the department and the community. He touched the lives of all whom he met and he achieved everything he focused on.
